Interior Health is hiring a Registered Nurse for our Opioid Agonist Treatment team based in Castlegar, BC. Engage in mental health care and support clients struggling with substance use issues.

As part of our integrated health services, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive care, including assessment and case management for individuals with complex mental health needs. This nurse role emphasizes evidence-based practice and is integral to enhancing community health outcomes and facilitating access to necessary clinical supports.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assess and treat clients with responsible mental health conditions
• Provide case management and community support
• Utilize specialized treatment modalities for diverse client needs




• Coordinate educational initiatives on overdose prevention
• Partner with medical and community teams for effective transitions

Requirements:
• Graduate from an accredited nursing program
• Two years of related MHSU experience required
• BCCNM registration as an opioid use disorder practice nurse
• Current valid B.C. driver’s license
• Well-organized with excellent assessment skills
