The Regional District of Nanaimo is looking for a temporary full-time Employee Engagement Specialist in its Human Resources & Safety department. The ideal candidate will cultivate employee engagement strategies and ensure alignment with the RDN People Plan and Accessibility Plan. Your work will directly impact employee inclusion and organizational success.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and enhance employee engagement initiatives
• Coordinate corporate programs supporting employee experience
• Provide expertise on inclusion and accessibility practices




• Collaborate across departments to achieve RDN goals
• Contribute to a positive workplace culture

Requirements:
• Diploma/certificate in HR, organizational development, or related field
• Minimum five years HR experience in corporate program development
• Experience in public sector environment preferred
• Solid communication and organizational skills
• Equivalent education and experience may be considered
