About Us
AMSMC has been in practice since 1981 and has strong routes in the community offering high-quality patient-centered care specializing in musculoskeletal and sport injuries. We offer services in physiotherapy, massage therapy and kinesiology. We also offer specialized services such as VALD sport science testing, concussion therapy, running assessments, bike fitting, clinical Pilates, on-field rehabilitation, therapist-led run clubs, GLA:D classes, sport-specific programs such as movement screens and training programs (for dance, ski, hockey, swim, etc.), and modern modalities such as shockwave therapy and blood flow restriction therapy. Our clients vary from all levels of abilities and through all stages of life. We offer individual 30- and 60-min sessions. We currently have locations in Downtown Vancouver, UBC, and North Vancouver.

Position Details
Physiotherapist

Motivated "Orthopaedic and Sports" Physiotherapist to join cooperative, community-focused, and multi-disciplinary team.

Downtown Vancouver Yaletown clinic in a full-time position.

Starting as early as October 20026 (but can be later).

Provide a combination of education,



exercise and movement retraining, and hands‑on treatment to help clients move and feel better.

Full‑time: 5 days/week with a mix of morning and afternoon/evening and Saturday shifts.

Caseload primarily private clients with some ICBC and other 3rd party billers.

New grads are welcome and encouraged to apply.

2‑Year formal mentorship program with one‑on‑one mentorship, evening mentorship series, and shadowing.

Further mentorship opportunities available (from experienced physiotherapists, FCAMPTs, and Sport physiotherapists).

Post graduate training in manual therapy and IMS/Dry Needling is an asset, but not essential.

As part of the AMSMC team you will be a highly passionate and community‑focused member, with in‑clinic education sessions, weekly UBC sports medicine and radiology rounds, annual AMSCM half‑day conference and bi‑annual clinic retreat.
