Join the Central Island Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Program as a full-time Child Psychiatrist in Nanaimo, BC. Contribute to telepsychiatry, early psychosis intervention, and community consultations.

This role includes developing recent components for CICAPP while providing consultation to pediatric services at Nanaimo Regional General Hospital. You will engage in telepsychiatry outreach, influence the Mental Health Day Program, and work closely with the local Child and Youth Mental Health Team. There are opportunities for teaching medical students and residents, as well as participation in research through Island Health.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide telepsychiatry outreach services to underserved areas
• Consult for the Pediatric Ambulatory Care Service




• Contribute to the Mental Health Day Program
• Participate in Early Psychosis Intervention Program
• Collaborate with other Child and Adolescent Psychiatrists

Requirements:
• Full medical license in British Columbia
• Specialization in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry
• Ability to work with a diverse population
• Experience in telepsychiatry preferred
• Open to teaching and research involvement
