Position And Responsibilities
As a member of the SHEQ team, you are responsible for performing a variety of analyses. The ideal candidate is a motivated self-starter capable of working in a team environment who possesses a strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy.

Education And Qualifications
Requirements of the position:

Post-secondary diploma (technician or technologist) in environmental, chemical or biotechnology

Excellent working knowledge of good laboratory practices (GLP) and representative sampling techniques

4 years experience in an analytical laboratory involving techniques such as spectrophotometry, ICP-MS, X-ray fluorescence,



high accuracy volumetric and gravimetric procedures is preferred. Must have working knowledge of current instrumental analysis

Perform equipment and instrument calibrations according to establish procedures

Ensure that documentation is complete in every aspect and all results are entered into the electronic laboratory information management system (LIMS)

Ensures full compliance with the company’s health & safety and housekeeping policies
