Position: Junior Identity Access Management (IAM) Consultant
Duration: 1 Year assignment (contract)
Client Location: Toronto (1 day/week onsite: 7.25 hours/day between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday)
Engagement Model: Professional Services Engagement - B2B (Incorporated Entities Only)

This position is provisionally 1 day/week onsite, requiring 7.25 hours per calendar day between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday (excluding breaks). Conditions may change based on organizational requirements and at the discretion of the Hiring Manager.
About the Engagement
Akkodis is seeking a Junior Identity Access Management (IAM) Consultant to support identity federation, secure authentication, and client integration initiatives within a large-scale healthcare technology workplace.
The successful consultant will support the implementation and integration of secure identity services utilizing industry-standard authentication and authorization protocols. This role involves working closely with technical teams, stakeholders, and client organizations to facilitate integrations, provide technical guidance, support deployment activities, and ensure successful onboarding to enterprise IAM services.
Scope
Support client integrations with Identity and Access Management services.
Work with stakeholders to configure, implement, and troubleshoot secure authentication solutions.
Participate in solution design, deployment, testing, and production readiness activities.
Collaborate with networking, infrastructure, security, and application teams.
Document solution architectures, configurations, integrations, and deployment procedures.
Assignment Deliverables
Technical support for client integration to enterprise IAM services.
Service enrollment configuration and onboarding documentation.
Promotion of client integrations from test environments to production environments.
End-to-end integration testing plans and validation documentation.
Expertise Required
Must Have:
2 to 3 years of Identity and Access Management (IAM) development experience.
Strong knowledge of OpenID Connect (OIDC) and OAuth authentication and authorization protocols.
Knowledge of system integration using standard APIs, interfaces, and integration protocols.
Understanding of network connectivity concepts, including firewalls and DNS.
Knowledge of software development processes and system implementation methodologies.
Experience providing technical support to clients and stakeholders with varying levels of technical expertise.
Knowledge of TLS/SSL, Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), and Single Sign-On (SSO) technologies.
Nice to Have:
Experience with Microsoft Active Directory environments.
Knowledge of SAML (Security Assertion Markup Language).
Experience working with IAM software platforms and identity federation technologies.
