Position: Junior Business Analyst
Duration: 1 Year assignment (contract)
Client Location: Toronto (Onsite/Hybrid: 7.25 hours/day between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday)
Engagement Model: Professional Services Engagement - B2B (Incorporated Entities Only)

This position is provisionally Onsite/Hybrid, requiring 7.25 hours per calendar day between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday (excluding breaks). Conditions may change based on organizational requirements and at the discretion of the Hiring Manager.
About the Engagement
Akkodis is seeking a skilled Junior Business Analyst (SAP Finance) to support financial system initiatives, SAP enhancements, business process improvements, and enterprise transformation projects within a large and complex organization.
The successful consultant will work closely with business stakeholders, finance teams, project managers, developers, and technical teams to analyze business needs, define requirements, support SAP solutions, and contribute to successful project delivery. This role requires strong SAP Finance expertise, business analysis experience, stakeholder engagement skills, and experience supporting system implementation and operational improvement initiatives.
Scope
Document business requirements, functional requirements, and detailed solution requirements.
Review and provide input into business requirements and project documentation.
Develop and maintain project-related documentation throughout the engagement lifecycle.
Support solution scoping, feasibility assessments, gap analysis, requirements analysis, testing, and implementation activities.
Create test plans, training materials, user documentation, and system documentation.
Assignment Deliverables
Business requirements and functional requirements documentation.
Functional specifications for SAP development and configuration activities.
Test plans, test cases, user stories, use cases,
scenarios, and test result documentation.
Documentation for unit, functional, integration, system, regression, performance, penetration, and user acceptance testing.
Expertise Required
Must Have:
Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in SAP Finance or related roles, including system implementation and end-user support.
Extensive SAP Business Analyst project experience.
Strong understanding of financial accounting principles, financial reporting, and business processes.
Proficiency with SAP Financial Modules (FI, CO) and understanding of SAP integration with other enterprise systems.
Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA.
Experience using SAP reporting and user interface tools, including SAP Fiori.
Experience preparing project documentation, functional specifications, and business analysis artifacts.
Experience supporting end-user training, business process deployment, and operational transition activities.
Nice to Have:
Experience with SAP Materials Management (MM).
Experience working on large-scale ERP transformation or modernization projects.
