Position: Senior Automation Developer

Duration: 1 Year assignment (contract)
Client Location: Toronto (Onsite: 7.25 hours/day between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday)

About the Engagement

Akkodis is seeking an experienced Senior Automation Developer to support enterprise-level quality assurance, automation, performance testing, and continuous improvement initiatives within a complex healthcare technology environment.

The successful consultant will lead the design, development, and execution of automated testing solutions while collaborating with QA teams, developers, architects, product owners, and business stakeholders. This role requires extensive experience in test automation frameworks, performance testing, DevOps practices, accessibility testing, API testing, and enterprise application quality assurance.

Scope

Identify opportunities for automation across software development and testing processes.

Design, develop, and execute automated QA tests to validate system functionality.

Develop and maintain scalable test automation frameworks.

Evaluate and implement emerging automation technologies, including AI-enabled testing approaches.

Analyze existing QA, testing, and DevOps processes and recommend improvements.

Assignment Deliverables

Automated testing frameworks and reusable automation assets.

Automated functional, regression, integration, performance, and security test scripts.

Test strategies,



test plans, test cases, and test execution reports.

Performance testing scripts, results, and analysis reports.

Expertise Required

Must Have:

Minimum 7 years of experience in Quality Assurance, Test Automation, and Software Testing.

Experience identifying automation opportunities within software development and testing processes.

Experience designing, developing, and executing automated QA tests.

Extensive experience designing and developing test automation frameworks.

Experience utilizing emerging automation technologies, including AI-enabled testing capabilities.

Experience with automation tools and frameworks such as Selenium.

Experience with enterprise-level performance testing tools such as LoadRunner.

Nice to Have:

Experience supporting large-scale digital transformation initiatives.

Experience testing integrations involving healthcare interoperability standards.
