An established locksmith company is looking for motivated and reliable Locksmith Technicians to join our team. We welcome experienced technicians as well as candidates who are new to the trade and eager to learn. Training and guidance will be provided to the right candidates.

The successful applicants will provide mobile residential, commercial, and automotive locksmith services throughout Toronto and the GTA. Candidates must be able to communicate professionally with customers, follow instructions, and complete work safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

- Respond to residential, commercial, and automotive locksmith service calls
- Diagnose problems involving locks, keys, door hardware, and security systems
- Install, repair, replace, and rekey locks and door hardware
- Perform emergency lockouts without causing unnecessary damage
- Cut and program automotive keys and remotes when qualified
- Install and service commercial hardware, including panic bars, door closers, and high-security locks
- Explain service options and pricing clearly to customers before starting work
- Collect payments and complete service reports
- Communicate regularly with dispatch regarding job status
- Keep tools, equipment, parts, and the service vehicle organized
- Provide professional customer service and resolve customer concerns
- Follow all company procedures and safety requirements

Qualifications

- Experienced and entry-level candidates are welcome to apply
- Locksmith, mechanical,



construction, or door-hardware experience is an asset
- Automotive locksmith and key-programming experience is a strong asset
- Sales and customer service experience is preferred
- Strong mechanical ability and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to manage multiple service calls and follow dispatch instructions
- Basic computer and smartphone skills
- Valid Ontario driver’s licence and a clean driving record
- Dependable, punctual, and available for flexible shifts
- Ability to communicate clearly in English
- Experience with high-security locks, master-key systems, access control, or automotive diagnostic equipment is an asset

Schedule

- We operate seven days a week

- Commercial door hardware: Preferred but not required

Language

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
