Zoom Boom Operator

To work at our Suncor Firebag Debottleneck in the Fort McMurray area

- SALARY: $41.55
- BENEFITS: Open Circle
- START DATE: ASAP
- SCHEDULE: 14/7
- TRAVEL: Flights provided
- ACCOMODATIONS: Camp
- HOURS PER DAY: 10 hours per day, overtime after 8
- PAY SCHEDULE: Weekly Pay (Friday)
- SHIFT: Days
- DURATION: TBD

Requirements:

- Must have 3 years experience operating Zoom Boom with a valid ticket
- Must be willing to attend safety training (paid by WorleyCord): CSTS, H2S, WHMIS2015
- Must have demonstrated ability to work under minimal supervision
- Strong communication skills written and verbal
- Previous construction experience is an asset
- Work will be primarily outdoors in various weather conditions

Responsibilities:

- Operate heavy equipment including rough terrain forklift, JLG’s,



Arial work platforms and zoom booms during construction related activities
- Operate light equipment such skid steer
- Assist other tradesmen with the completion of their duties
- Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment and clean, lubricate and refill equipment.
- Assist other tradesmen with the completion of their duties
- Complete all required safety documentation
- Working at heights and outdoors
- May perform other duties as assigned

Job Type: Full time

Pay: Up to $41.55 per hour
