Job Summary
We are seeking passionate and energetic Supply Registered Early Childhood Educators to join our team. In this role, you will support classroom activities, assist with daily routines, and ensure a safe, engaging, and inclusive environment for young children. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth and development of children while working in a collaborative and supportive setting.
Duties
- Assist lead educators in planning and implementing age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development.
- Support children’s daily routines, including meal times, naps, diapering, and transitions.
- Foster positive relationships with children, families, and team members through clear communication and active engagement.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment that encourages exploration and independence.
- Follow all licensing regulations, safety protocols,
and organizational policies to ensure compliance at all times.
- Collaborate with and support team members creating a positive work environment
- Ensure compliance with the Child Care and Early Years Act and other industry policies and procedures
- Adhere to all organizational policies and procedures
- Foster an inclusive environment that respects and celebrates diversity
Requirements
- Registered with the College of ECE's and in good standing
- Diploma in ECE from an accredited Canadian Institution( or deemed equivalent)
- Current standard first aid CPR/CPR-C certification
- Up to date immunizations
- Clear vulnerable sector screening
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in planning and implementing inclusive play-based learning activities that aligns with How Does Learning Happen
- Ability to build strong relationships with young children, families and team members
- Experience working in a child care setting
