**Weekend availability is a must**

In addition to general housekeeping tasks the housekeeper duties in a hotel or similar environment will include:

- clean corridors, lobbies, stairways, lounges as well as guest rooms
- regular sanitizing of public washrooms
- laundering of linens and towels
- distribute linen, towels and room supplies to assigned storages
- restock room supplies such as drinking glasses, soaps, shampoos, writing supplies, mini bar
- replace dirty linens with clean items
- store all dirty laundry in line with company policy
- check all appliances in rooms are in working order
- respond to guest queries and requests
- deliver any requested housekeeping items to guest room
- ensure confidentiality and security of guest rooms
- follow all company safety and security procedures
- report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to Housekeeping Manager




- observe and report damage of hotel property

Knowledge and Experience

- previous experience a bonus-training available
- physical stamina and mobility including ability to reach, kneel and bend
- ability to lift, carry required load (usually about 20-30lbs)
- ability to manage flights of stairs to perform duties

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $18.25 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
