Overview

Join our team as a Site Safety Coordinator and become a vital part of ensuring a safe, compliant, and effective construction environment. In this role, you will oversee safety protocols across the site, promote a culture of safety awareness, and collaborate closely with project managers, workers to uphold the highest safety standards. Your proactive approach will help prevent accidents, minimize risks, and foster a secure workspace where everyone can perform at their best.

Duties

- Develop, implement, and monitor comprehensive safety plans tailored to each project.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify hazards and ensure compliance with local regulations and company policies.
- Lead safety orientations and training sessions for new employees, subcontractors, and visitors to promote awareness of safety procedures.
- Investigate incidents, accidents, or near-misses thoroughly, documenting findings and recommending corrective actions.
- Coordinate with construction management software tools to track safety metrics, inspections,



and training records efficiently.
- Facilitate communication between site teams and regulatory agencies during inspections or audits.
- Promote a culture of safety by encouraging open communication about hazards and best practices among all site personnel.

Experience

- Proven experience in construction safety management or a related field within the industry.
- Familiarity with management software for tracking safety documentation, inspections, and compliance records.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA or CORE standards or relevant local safety regulations.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively train teams and report on safety performance.
- Ability to identify potential hazards quickly and implement effective mitigation strategies.
- Construction experience is highly preferred to understand project workflows and site-specific challenges.

Pay: $28.00-$38.00 per hour
