Job Summary

We are looking for a reliable, full-time Yard Hand to join our team in Parry Sound on the day shift. You will pull, pack, and prepare Engineered Wood Products (EWP) flooring orders. Your main goal is getting orders ready for our delivery trucks. This is a physical role that keeps our yard moving.

Key Responsibilities

- Pull floor orders based on cut sheets.
- Operate yard machinery like forklifts to move heavy wood packs safely.
- Band bundles tightly to prevent damage during transit.
- Load delivery trucks accurately for our daily delivery routes.
- Maintain the yard through general shop cleanup and daily maintenance chores.

Qualifications and Skills

- Must have reliable transportation to get to work.




- A valid driver's licence is considered a strong asset.
- Experience in a lumber yard or warehouse environment is preferred.
- Knowledge of EWP flooring or general building materials is a big plus.
- Knowledge of chainsaw operation and basic safety is required.
- Forklift certification is highly valued, but training can be provided.
- Ability to lift heavy loads over 50 pounds repeatedly.
- Robust attention to detail so our drivers deliver the exact items ordered.
