Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Skid Steer Operator to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating skid steers and other heavy equipment, with a strong understanding of construction site safety and equipment maintenance. This role involves performing various earthmoving and material handling tasks to support construction projects, ensuring efficiency and safety on-site.

Duties

- Operate skid steers with precision to perform grading, excavation, loading, and material transport tasks.
- Utilize additional heavy equipment such as dozers, excavators, loaders, and backhoes as needed.
- Conduct routine inspections and basic maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Follow project plans and specifications to complete tasks accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and procedures.
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate operations and meet project deadlines.
- Support the setup of construction sites, including site preparation and debris removal.

Qualifications





- Proven experience operating skid steers in a construction or heavy equipment workplace.
- Mechanical knowledge related to heavy machinery maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Skills in loader operation, excavator operation, dozer use, backhoe operation, grader operation are highly desirable.
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) or ability to obtain one is preferred.
- Knowledge of Caterpillar equipment or similar heavy machinery is a plus.
- Strong understanding of construction safety standards and practices.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions for extended periods.
- Physical ability to lift heavy loads and perform physically demanding tasks safely. Pay: $24.00-$31.00 per hour
