Qualifications – Healthcare Facility

- Current registration in good standing as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in Newfoundland and Labrador
- Minimum 2–4 years of infusion nursing experience or equivalent is an asset
- Previous dermatology experience is highly desirable
- Experience in IBD, rheumatology, neurology, or oncology is considered an asset
- Current CPR/First Aid certification (required)
- Experience in critical care, emergency, or acute care is a strong asset
- Familiarity with phototherapy is preferred
- Start Date: ASAP
- End Date: Permanent, Full-Time
- Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision as part of a larger remote team
- Ability to confidently administer medications via IM and/or SC routes
- Full-time availability required

Responsibilities:
Licensed Practical Nurses are required to adhere to their applicable provincial scope of practice and professional standards. Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

- Triage and assess patients while providing safe, patient-centred care in a busy dermatology setting
- Administer biologic medications and other treatments through IM and/or SC injections while monitoring patient responses
- Provide patient education, including instruction and support regarding self-injection and medication administration
- Perform delegated acts and clinical procedures such as suture removal, biopsies, Kenalog injections, and cryotherapy, as authorized




- Deliver phototherapy treatments and monitor patients throughout treatment while maintaining accurate clinical documentation

Note: Duties may vary slightly based on facility and shift, with specific guidance provided during site orientation.

Experience:

- Previous dermatology experience is highly desirable
- 2–4 years of infusion experience or equivalent is an asset
- Experience in IBD, rheumatology, neurology, or oncology is considered an asset
- Experience in critical care, emergency, or acute care is a robust asset
- Familiarity with phototherapy and biologic medications is preferred
- Understanding of the pharmaceutical industry is an asset
- Ability to work independently and as part of a larger remote team
- Strong clinical judgment and adaptability in a high-volume patient care environment

- Ability to confidently educate patients on treatments and self-injection techniques
- Strong attention to detail when administering medications and performing clinical procedures
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a high-volume environment
