Description of the Role

Place-Crete Systems is seeking a dependable and hardworking Labourer / Skid Steer Operator to join our Gypcrete and Concrete Division. This position supports concrete and gypcrete placement crews while operating and transporting skid steer equipment between job sites. The successful candidate will be safety-focused, physically capable, and experienced in equipment operation, material handling, and commercial vehicle operation.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist gypcrete and concrete crews with site preparation and material handling.
- Operate skid steer equipment for material movement, site preparation, and cleanup.
- Transport skid steer equipment to and from job sites using a company truck and trailer.
- Safely load, secure, and unload equipment.
- Operate company vehicles, including manual transmission trucks.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area.

Qualifications

Required:

- Valid Class 5 Driver's Licence with no driving restrictions.
- Code 20 Heavy Trailer Endorsement.
- Ability to legally operate both automatic and manual transmission company vehicles.




- Experience driving and maneuvering manual transmission trucks.
- Ability to safely load, transport, secure, and operate skid steer equipment.
- Ability to lift up to 80 lbs.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality.

Mandatory Licensing Requirement

Applicants must possess a valid Class 5 Driver's Licence with no driving restrictions and a Code 20 Heavy Trailer Endorsement. The successful candidate will be required to operate company trucks, including manual transmission vehicles, and transport skid steer equipment using a truck and trailer.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $28.00-$30.00 per hour
