Proton Learning Centre is seeking an enthusiastic, knowledgeable Science Teacher to teach students in Grades 7–10.

Responsibilities

- Teach Science to students in Grades 7–10
- Follow the Ontario Science Curriculum
- Explain scientific concepts clearly and effectively
- Help students with classwork, homework, tests, and exam preparation
- Prepare lessons, worksheets, and practice questions when required
- Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback
- Maintain a positive and supportive learning environment

Qualifications

- Strong knowledge of Grade 7–10 Ontario Science
- University degree or currently studying Science, Engineering, Education, or a related field
- Previous teaching or tutoring experience is preferred
- Robust communication and classroom-management skills
- Patient, responsible, punctual, and dependable
- Ability to explain concepts clearly to students at different learning levels
- Ontario Certified Teacher (OCT)

Schedule

Tuesday to Friday only

Available teaching times:

4:30 PM – 6:30 PM
6:30 PM – 8:30 PM

This is a part-time, in-person position.
