Alberta Parking Lot Services has been serving central Alberta for over 25 years. With a high commitment to quality work and excellent customer service. We are looking for professional and enthusiastic, SEASONAL Asphalt & Paving Workers, for our 2026 construction season, to work full-time. Projects to continue until mid-end of October, depending on the weather.

SUMMARY
This position directs all works and equipment enforcing the company’s direction, policies, procedures and safety standards.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Constructive communication with the office regarding time line, concerns or scheduling.
- Allocate resources where appropriate to achieve project safety, schedule, cost, scope and quality objectives.
- Time manage and multitask, when managing multiple projects with competing priorities.
- Report all incidents and personnel concerns to Human Resources.
- Observe asphalt to determine potential quality control issues, and apply necessary corrections.
- Ensure company equipment is lawfully operated, cared for, maintained and used effectively.
- Complete, maintain all paperwork in a timely matter.
- Conduct and participate in hazard assessments, tool box meetings, and employee training,



to ensure a safe and effective work site.
- Operate Heavy Equipment, Lee Boy 8515 Paver and other construction duties as necessary.

REQUIREMENTS/EXPERIENCE

- Class 5 Drivers License, Class 3 an asset.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in asphalt.
- Demonstrate a proficient understanding of how to operate a Paver, Roller, and other paving construction heavy equipment, including proper maintenance procedures.
- Knowledge of paving construction methods, road construction materials, heavy equipment operation and industry requirements.
- The ideal candidate will be trustworthy, outgoing, articulate, self-confident, pleasant and sociable
- Must possess strong problem solving, mathematical, organization and people management skills.
- Must be physically able to repetitively lift and carry at least 50 LBS on a regular basis.
- Must possess strong English proficiency skills, both verbally and written.
- Must comply with, and meet the company’s drug and alcohol policies and testing practices.
- Willing to work overtime, as required.
