We are Growing! Work and Live in the beautiful Okanagan! We are currently seeking an Accounting Assistant willing to learn, excellent multitasker, time management, exceptional communication skills, and ready to take on recent challenges to help advance in our accounting department as we continue to grow.

To be a successful Accounting Assistant, you must have an understanding of Accounting principles and proficiency with computers and software, such as MS Excel and Quick books Desktop. You should be trustworthy, efficient, and organized.

Responsibilities:

- Providing support to the Accounting Department.
- Communication and liaison with vendors via phone, email, and in-person.
- A/R Collections
- Issuing PO’s and matching PO’s to Invoices and entering into QB’s
- Processing transactions, issuing checks, and updating ledgers, budgets, etc.
- Able to meet tight deadlines

Requirements:

- Preference given to education in related field with work experience
- Exceptional analytical and critical thinking abilities




- Detail oriented with the ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks.
- Proficiency with computers and QB’s software, strong typing skills.
- Exceptional time management and verbal and written communication skills.
- Professional manner and strong ethical code.
- Ability to multitask and remain motivated and positive.
- Commitment to working efficiently and accurately.
- Able to work productively with minimum supervision
- Must be entitled to work in Canada without restriction

Salary will commensurate with experience.

Pay: $22.00-$24.00 per hour
