Role Description:

- We are seeking an experienced Playwright Automation Engineer to join our Quality Engineering team. In this role, you will lead the modernization of our testing infrastructure by implementing robust, end-to-end (E2E) automation frameworks.




- You will work closely with developers and product teams to integrate continuous testing into our release cycle, driving software quality and faster deployment speeds.

Core Responsibilities:
Framework Development: Design, build, and scale automated test frameworks using Playwright with TypeScript or JavaScript.
Test Strategy: Authors comprehensive test plans, identifying critical UI paths and cross-browser coverage requirements.
API Testing: Validate backend components, microservices, and databases using Playwright’s API capabilities and tools like Postman.
CI/CD Integration: Embed test automation suites into DevOps pipelines via GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps.
Execution & Maintenance: Run test cycles, perform root cause analysis on failures, and proactively refactor flaky tests.
Agile Collaboration: Participate in sprint planning, code reviews, and daily stand-ups to catch bug defects early in the SDLC.
AI-Driven Optimization: Utilize Generative AI coding assistants to streamline test maintenance and speed up execution cycles.
