EQUILIBRIUM is looking for an Intermediate Structural BIM Technician / Technologist to join our Digital Delivery team in Vancouver.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
As a result of landing some exciting new projects, we are looking for a talented and ambitious Structural BIM Technician / Technologist to join our team at our Vancouver office.
WHAT YOU'LL GET UP TO
· Contribute to innovative, architecturally driven, and award-winning projects across North America and internationally.
· Produce structural BIM models (LOD 300+) and deliver construction documents using Revit.
· Develop engineers' concepts, sketches, and designs into clear, coordinated models and drawing packages.
· Maintain clean, efficient, and easy-to-navigate project files in accordance with company BIM standards.
· Coordinate with engineers, architects, consultants, contractors, and project stakeholders.
· Participate in BIM coordination and clash-resolution processes.
· Help improve project quality through attention to detail, consistency, and continuous learning.
· Exact responsibilities will be dependent on experience level.
REQUIREMENTS
· Diploma or Certificate in Civil/Structural Drafting, Architectural Technology, Building Technology, or a related field from an accredited institution.
Located in Vancouver or willing to relocate.
· Valid work status in Canada.
· 3-5+ years of professional experience in a similar role.
· Proficiency with Revit, Forma (ACC), Navisworks, AutoCAD, Microsoft O365, Teams and Sharepoint.
· Familiarity with Bluebeam and studio sessions.
· Working knowledge of timber, steel, concrete, and hybrid construction systems.
· Experience in independently owning models and small-to-medium project coordination
· Interest or experience in digital tools like Rhino, Grasshopper, Revit API, Addins like PyRevit would be an asset, but not essential.
· Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment.
