Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and organized Packhouse Team Lead – Quality Control & Shipping to join our team.

The successful candidate will support daily packhouse operations by coordinating workflow, assisting with shipping and receiving, monitoring product quality, and ensuring customer orders are packed, labelled, and prepared accurately for shipment.

This position requires strong attention to detail, good communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while helping guide and support other team members.

Duties and Responsibilities

- Coordinate daily packhouse activities and workflow
- Support and guide packhouse employees to ensure tasks are completed efficiently
- Inspect product quality and ensure company packing standards are met
- Identify and report quality issues or product discrepancies
- Prepare, organize,



and verify customer orders for shipment
- Assist with shipping, receiving, pallet organization, and inventory tracking
- Ensure products are packed and labelled correctly
- Complete basic records and documentation related to quality and orders
- Communicate priorities or operational concerns with employees and supervisors
- Follow food safety, quality control, and workplace safety procedures

Qualifications

- Previous experience in a packhouse, warehouse, shipping and receiving, quality control, or similar environment is preferred
- Previous team lead or supervisory experience is an asset
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to identify product quality issues and follow established standards
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable using computers and order tracking systems
- Experience with Microsoft Excel and Word
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently and take initiative when required
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Spanish is an asset
