Jim Keay Ford Lincoln is currently seeking a Temporary Warehouse Shipping & Receiving Associate to join our team of talented and driven professionals.

This is a temporary position with the possibility of extension based on operational needs and performance.

The primary responsibility of the Shipper/Receiver is to ship, receive and record the movement of parts, supplies, materials, equipment and inventory to and from the dealership. The position also supports the smooth operation of the Parts and Service Departments.

Job Responsibilities:

- Determine shipping methods and arrange shipments.
- Prepare bills of lading, customs forms, invoices and other shipping documents manually or electronically.
- Assemble containers and crates, record contents, pack goods and attach identifying information and shipping instructions.
- Oversee the loading and unloading of goods from trucks and other vehicles.
- Inspect and verify incoming goods against invoices and other documentation.
- Record shortages and identify or reject damaged goods.
- Unpack, label and route goods to the appropriate storage areas.
- Maintain accurate manual and computerized records.
- Maintain the overall cleanliness and organization of the shipping and receiving area.
- Operate a forklift, hand truck or other equipment to load, unload, transport and store goods, as required.
- Keep the Parts Department clean and organized, including emptying garbage and disposing of cardboard.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

- Valid Ontario G-class driver’s licence.
- Clean driver’s abstract.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Willingness to perform all duties associated with the position.
