Pay: From CA$25.00 per hour to CA $26.00 per hour

Job Description
We are looking for a qualified inside elevator operators with a valid certification for a full time, ongoing opportunity in Victoria. The successful candidate can operate the inside/temporary construction elevator to transport workers, materials, and equipment between floors. Full PPE required at all times on site.

Key Duties:

- Operate elevator controls for smooth, safe starts and stops between floors
- Open/close gates and doors safely for passengers and materials
- Confirm loads stay within capacity and are balanced properly before moving
- Watch for mechanical issues or unusual noises and report immediately to site supervision
- Follow all site specific safety protocols and traffic management plans
- Assist trades with loading/unloading tools, materials, and debris
- Keep the elevator car and landing areas clean and clear of hazards
- Maintain trip or maintenance logs if required by the site
- Coordinate with supervisors and other trades on scheduling and priority moves

Requirements:

- Must have a valid Inside Elevator Certification
- Full PPE required (hard hat, safety glasses, high visibility vest, steel toe boots, gloves as needed)
- Physically able to stand for extended periods
- Strong safety awareness and ability to follow instructions
- Prior construction site experience
- Knowledge of the hazards and safety precautions involved in operating inside elevators.




- Ability to understand and execute oral instructions.
- Sufficient manual dexterity to develop skill in the operation of the equipment involved in the work.
- Physical strength and agility sufficient to lift up to 40 lbs
