We have a vacant full-time, permanent Warehouse Manager position available at our Acheson, Alberta location. This position is reporting to the National Operations Manager.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

- Lead, coach, and develop a team of approximately 10-14 warehouse team members, ensuring a safe, productive, and high-performance work environment
- Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and training of warehouse personnel, including forklift certification and working at heights (fall arrest)
- Develop and manage daily workforce schedules to ensure proper coverage across all warehouse functions




- Manage all day-to-day warehouse operations, including order fulfillment, wave management, reporting, and adherence to company cut-off times
- Monitor and optimize inventory flow, warehouse organization, cleanliness, and operational efficiency
- Ensure compliance with all Ministry regulations, company policies, and safety standards
- Oversee preventative maintenance (PM) programs and safety inspections for forklifts and ensure all equipment meets regulatory requirements
- Coordinate maintenance and repairs for warehouse equipment, including forklifts, racking systems, and conveyors
- Ensure full compliance with Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) regulations, including lithium-ion battery shipments
- Lead safety initiatives and enforce safe work practices throughout the warehouse
- Utilize data, reporting tools, and performance metrics (KPIs) to guide decision-making and improve operations
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, efficiency, and cost control
- Promote a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement aligned with Stihl values

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS INCLUDE:

- Minimum 5+ years of leadership experience in a warehouse or distribution workplace
- High school diploma or equivalent required




- Post-secondary education in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field is an asset
- SAP experience is an asset
- Proven ability to manage teams in a fast-paced, high-volume setting
- Solid organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Excellent interpersonal and cross-functional collaboration ability
- Comfortable working in a data-driven shipping environment
