Duties

- Safely operate commercial trucks and vans to deliver items to designated locations, adhering to all safety regulations and traffic laws
- Load and unload items using proper lifting techniques and equipment such as forklifts, ensuring secure transportation
- Assist customers with the moving process, providing friendly and skilled service throughout each interaction
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after trips to maintain safety standards and report any issues promptly
- Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure accurate inventory management and timely deliveries




- Communicate clearly with team members and clients to confirm delivery details, address concerns, and provide updates
- Maintain detailed logs of deliveries, pickups, mileage, and any incidents or damages during transit

Skills

- Proven experience in moving heavy items safely and efficiently
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) or equivalent certification for operating large vehicles
- Forklift certification is highly desirable for handling warehouse loading tasks
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally
- Physical strength and stamina for heavy lifting and manual handling of goods
- Prior warehouse experience is a plus for understanding inventory procedures
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate with team members and clients seamlessly
