We are seeking a passionate and dynamic French Language Instructor specializing in TEF/TCF exam preparation and general French instruction. In this role, you will inspire learners to achieve their language goals through engaging, effective teaching methods. Your expertise will help students develop their speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills in French, while also preparing them for standardized language assessments. Duties

- Design and deliver comprehensive French lessons tailored to TEF (Test d’Évaluation de Français) and TCF (Test de Connaissance du Français) exam requirements, as well as general French language skills.
- Create engaging lesson plans that incorporate diverse teaching techniques suitable for different learning styles and proficiency levels.
- Assess students’ progress regularly through tests, assignments, and interactive activities, providing constructive feedback to foster improvement.
- Prepare students for standardized language assessments by familiarizing them with exam formats, question types, and effective test-taking strategies.
- Foster a positive learning environment that encourages active participation, cultural appreciation, and confidence in using French.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress reports,



and assessment results in compliance with program standards.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum materials that align with educational goals and standards.

Requirements

- Bilingual proficiency in English and French is essential to effectively communicate complex concepts and support diverse learners.
- Proven teaching experience in a classroom setting, preferably with adult or secondary education students.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to motivate and engage students of varying proficiency levels.
- Familiarity with TEF/TCF exam structures, content, and preparation strategies is highly desirable.
- Experience working with students requiring special education accommodations or support is a plus.
- Demonstrated classroom management skills combined with patience and adaptability to meet individual learner needs.

Pay: $18.15-$30.00 per hour
