Kinton Ramen is opening a brand-new location in Downtown Burlington, and we're looking for a FOH Manager / FOH Leader to help lead our front‑of‑house team from day one. You’ll be the face of the dining room — making sure every guest feels welcomed, every team member is supported, and every shift runs smoothly.
This is a ground‑floor opportunity to help launch a new restaurant and build a solid service culture from the very beginning.
What You’ll Do
- Lead day‑to‑day front‑of‑house operations alongside the General Manager
- Maintain Kinton Ramen’s service standards and ensure a seamless guest experience
- Manage table flow, pacing, seating, and overall dining room coordination
- Support FOH opening and closing procedures
- Jump in on the floor whenever needed to keep service running smoothly
- Coach and develop servers, hosts, and bussers in real time
- Handle guest feedback and service recovery with professionalism
- Assist with hiring, training, and developing a motivated FOH team
- Support the GM with scheduling input and shift planning
- Uphold all health, food safety, and hygiene standards
What You Bring
- 1–2+ years of FOH leadership experience in a fast‑paced dine‑in restaurant
- Strong English communication skills (Japanese or French an asset)
- Food Safety and Responsible Alcohol Service certifications (or willingness to obtain)
- A track record of coaching and motivating teams
- Ability to stay calm, organized, and positive during busy service periods
- Sharp attention to detail and strong conflict‑management skills
- Availability for flexible shifts — mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays (minimum 30 hours/week)
- Comfort with the physical demands of the role (standing up to 8 hours, lifting up to 25 lbs)
