We are looking for a reliable, hands-on Shop Fabricator to join our custom signage and fabrication team.

Previous signage experience is not required. We will train the right person on our materials, equipment and production processes.

However, applicants should already have practical hands-on experience using common shop and power tools and be comfortable measuring, cutting, drilling, fastening and assembling physical components.

This is a good opportunity for someone with an existing fabrication or trades foundation who wants to expand their skills in a professional custom-production environment.

What You'll Do

Our projects change from day to day. You may be assembling a sign in the morning, preparing parts for paint in the afternoon and installing LEDs on the next project.

Typical responsibilities include:

- Measure, mark, cut, drill, sand and assemble fabricated components
- Work with aluminum, acrylic, plastics, wood products and composite materials
- Use common shop machinery and handheld power tools
- Follow basic drawings, dimensions and fabrication instructions
- Prepare surfaces through sanding, cleaning and masking
- Assist with spray finishing and inspect parts for surface defects
- Install simple low-voltage LED components and wiring
- Check your own work for accuracy, alignment, fit and finish
- Keep tools, machines and work areas clean and organized
- Assist with material handling and general production as required

Shop Equipment

Applicants should already have experience with some of the following:

- Mitre saw
- Table saw
- Track saw
- Router or router table
- Drill press
- Power drills and impact drivers
- Sanders and other common handheld power tools

You do not need experience with every machine listed. Training will be provided on unfamiliar equipment and on our specific shop procedures.

Required Skills & Experience

You should already be able to:





- Read and use a tape measure accurately
- Mark and transfer dimensions
- Use drills, drivers and basic power tools confidently
- Change drill bits, driver bits and common tool accessories
- Identify common fasteners and driver types
- Drill and fasten components accurately
- Safely set up material for basic cutting, drilling and sanding operations
- Follow simple drawings, sketches and dimensions
- Recognize poor alignment, incorrect fit or obvious finishing defects
- Work safely and responsibly around machinery and power tools

Previous practical hands-on experience is required.

Formal trade certification is not required.

- Comfortable moving between different fabrication tasks throughout the day

We are happy to teach you how we fabricate signs and use our specific equipment.

We expect applicants to already understand the fundamentals of tools, measuring, cutting, drilling and assembly.

Physical Requirements

- Able to safely lift and handle approximately 40–50 lb
- Comfortable standing and working on your feet for much of the day
- Comfortable working in an active fabrication environment around machinery, power tools, dust and noise

Why This Role

This is not repetitive assembly-line production. Our work is custom, and projects regularly involve different materials, construction methods and fabrication challenges.

For someone who already enjoys making physical things, this role offers the opportunity to build broader experience across custom fabrication, finishing, assembly and illuminated signage.
