Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service and a strong ability to engage with customers to drive sales. As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service, assisting customers with their purchases, and contributing to a positive shopping experience.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products.
- Process transactions accurately using the Point of Sale (POS) system.
- Handle cash and credit transactions efficiently while ensuring cash handling procedures are followed.
- Upsell products and services to enhance the customer experience and increase sales.
- Maintain an organized and visually appealing sales floor.
- Provide knowledgeable answers to customer inquiries regarding products and services.
- Assist in inventory management, including restocking shelves and conducting inventory counts.
- Uphold high standards of customer service through effective phone etiquette when handling calls.
- Collaborate with team members to meet sales goals and improve store performance.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- At least 1 year of customer service.
- Be available to work evenings (5pm-9:30pm)
2-3 evenings per week.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor.
- Proficiency in cash handling and cashiering duties.
- Ability to upsell products effectively while maintaining customer satisfaction.
- Familiarity with POS systems is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided.
- A proactive attitude towards selling and engaging customers is essential.
