We are currently recruiting a Personal Support Worker to assist a male employer with Quadriplegia , to provide personal care and assistance with his activities of daily living.

This gentleman spends a lot of his time working with people with disabilities and in his spare time, enjoys watching all kinds of sports.

Location:

- Delta, BC (near Lions Park Playground)

Compensation:

- $24.00 per hour

Shifts & Hours of Work:

- 3 shifts per week (flexible on days; to be determined upon hiring)
- 8am to 5pm

Responsibilities will include (but not limited to)

- Daily evening personal care such as washroom care (including bowel routine), grooming and dressing
- Meal preparation
- Transfer assistance using a ceiling lift
- Light housekeeping such as dusting, cleaning bathroom etc

Required Qualifications:

- Caregiving experience is an asset
- Must be able to perform tasks that require bending and lifting required
- Class4 or 5 Drivers License is required
