Experienced Multi-Spindle Screw Machine Setter / Operator

We are looking for an experienced Automatic Screw Machine Setter / Operator with a minimum of 10 years of hands-on screw machine experience. Singles or Multis

Candidates with extensive experience setting up and operating automatic screw machines are encouraged to apply.

We are looking for someone with a strong understanding of machining..

The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up, troubleshooting, adjusting and running multiple machines to maintain quality and production.

Qualifications

- Minimum 10 years of experience setting up and operating automatic screw machines.
- Experience may include Brown and Sharpe,Wickman, Acme-Gridley, New Britain, Davenport .
- Previous Davenport experience is an asset but is not required.
- Must have experience performing complete machine setups and job changeovers.




- Must be capable of both setting up and running production machines.
- Strong understanding of mechanical multi-spindle machining principles.
- Ability to work independently and determine what needs to be addressed first to keep multiple machines operating.
- Strong understanding of quality requirements in a precision machining setting.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is an experienced screw machine setter/operator..

This is not an entry-level machine operator position. Applicants must have a minimum of 10 years of screw machine experience.

Pay: $35.00-$45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
