About the Role
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Electrical Control Panel Builder to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling, wiring, testing, and troubleshooting electrical control panels and related electrical equipment while maintaining high standards for quality, safety, and workmanship.
Key Responsibilities
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and panel layouts.
- Build and wire electrical control panels according to drawings and specifications.
- Install breakers, contactors, relays, terminals, PLCs, power supplies, and other electrical components.
- Route, terminate, label, and organize wiring to a high standard.
- Perform continuity checks, inspections, and functional testing.
- Troubleshoot wiring and electrical issues and make required corrections.
- Use hand tools, power tools, wire strippers, crimpers, and testing equipment safely.
- Maintain accurate documentation and identify any discrepancies between drawings and completed panels.
- Follow company quality-control procedures and applicable electrical codes and safety requirements.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Work collaboratively with engineering, production, and quality teams to meet project deadlines.
Qualifications
- Previous experience building and wiring electrical control panels is preferred.
- Ability to read and understand electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
- Strong knowledge of electrical components and control-panel construction.
- Good mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
- Comfortable using common electrical hand tools and test equipment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Commitment to workplace safety and quality workmanship.
Preferred:
- Electrical apprentice, journeyperson certification, industrial electrical experience, or experience with PLC/control systems.

Pay: $21.00-$35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
