Cornerstone Heating and Cooling is a growing, locally owned HVAC company serving Winnipeg and surrounding areas. We’re looking to add a Journeyperson, experienced Technician, or motivated Apprentice to our team.

Our work is primarily residential and new construction, with select light commercial projects. We’re looking for someone who takes pride in quality workmanship, is dependable, and wants to grow with a company where their contribution matters.

What You’ll Do

Responsibilities vary depending on experience and may include:

- Installing furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and other residential HVAC equipment
- Completing installations in new construction and existing homes
- Installing ductwork, ventilation, and related components
- Running and connecting refrigeration lines, drains, and piping
- Troubleshooting and diagnosing heating and cooling systems
- Performing service, repairs, and preventative maintenance
- Completing work neatly, efficiently, and to a high standard
- Working independently when required and communicating effectively with the team

Experience with light commercial HVAC is an asset.

Who We’re Looking For

Apprentices
We welcome applicants who are recent to the trade. A strong mechanical aptitude, reliability, and willingness to learn are key.

Journeypersons & Experienced Technicians
You should be able to take ownership of installations,



troubleshoot confidently, and consistently produce quality work with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

We consider applicants at all experience levels. Qualifications may include:

- HVAC/R Journeyperson certification, current apprenticeship registration, or interest in starting a career in HVAC
- Gas fitting licence/certification (asset)
- Refrigeration and air conditioning certification/licensing (asset)
- ODP certification (asset)
- Valid driver’s licence
- Ability to safely lift and handle HVAC equipment and materials
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem‑solving skills
- Professional, respectful conduct in customers’ homes and on job sites
- Good communication and organizational skills
