Position Summary
At Athlete Institute, energy and community drive our culture, and our mascot is the heartbeat of that crowd excitement. We are seeking a high-energy, reliable, and expressive performer to bring our character to life for the upcoming Blue Arrow Event.
Working across a dynamic three-day schedule, you will be on the frontlines of event fan engagement by building crowd enthusiasm, posing for photos, and elevating brand awareness throughout the venue. If you take pride in creating memorable fan experiences, bringing non-verbal showmanship to life, and powering an energetic sports atmosphere, we want you on our team.

Key Responsibilities

- Wear the full mascot costume to roam event spaces, energize crowds, and participate in scheduled stage or center-court features.
- Deliver exceptional, friendly interactions with attendees of all ages through photos, high-fives, and playful engagement.
- Utilize exaggerated non-verbal body language, dance, and creative antics to communicate enthusiasm without speaking.
- Assist with marketing activations, sponsor giveaways, and live event social media footage.
- Maintain mascot suit integrity,



ensuring performance quality and suit care throughout the event.
- Collaborate closely with event staff and handlers to navigate crowds safely and follow event timelines.

Qualifications

- Previous mascot, cheer, theater, dance, or athletic performance experience preferred.
- High physical stamina and comfort performing inside a full-body suit for 20-30 minute intervals.
- Enthusiastic, dependable, and punctual with a strong team-first attitude.
- Height recommendation: Approximately 5'8" – 6'1" (required to safely wear and navigate within the pre-sized mascot costume).

Work Schedule & Expectations

- Full availability required for all 3 days of the event.
- Mandatory scheduled cool-down breaks provided throughout each shift due to suit performance requirements.
