Overview

Spank Clothing & Accessories Inc. is seeking a full-time Assistant Store Manager to support the daily operations of our boutique apparel store in downtown Victoria. This role is suited to a candidate with retail supervisory or progressively responsible retail operations experience who can help maintain store standards, support staff, assist with merchandising, and contribute to sales activities.

Duties

- Assist the Manager in the day-to-day operation of the store.
- Help supervise staff and maintain a high standard of customer service.
- Support opening and closing procedures, floor coordination, and daily workflow.
- Assist with staff onboarding, training, and weekly scheduling.
- Maintain merchandising standards, product presentation, and seasonal displays.

Qualifications

- Experience in retail supervision, assistant store management, or progressively responsible retail operations roles.




- Strong customer service and team coordination skills.
- Experience in boutique, fashion, or specialty retail is preferred.
- Familiarity with merchandising, stock control, and POS systems.
- Comfortable supporting a small business environment with diverse day-to-day responsibilities.
- English fluency required.

- Understanding of apparel merchandising and product presentation
- Additional language skills are an asset; career-minded candidates who are adaptable and motivated to grow with the business are preferred
