Iron Ridge Secondary Campus is seeking a dedicated and resilient Educational Assistant to provide intensive, individualized support for students with highly complex learning, communication, and behavioral needs. This role requires a calm, confident, and skilled professional who can maintain structure and consistency while supporting students who require supervision, redirection, and personalized programming throughout the school day.

Assignment:

- Full-time 1.0 FTE Educational Assistant position
- Duties to commence as soon as possible and will continue for the remainder of the 2026/2027 school year

Qualifications and/or Assets:

- Experience supporting students and children with behavioral needs would be considered an asset
- Experience and/or training as an Educational Assistant




- Ability to support literacy and numeracy
- Use of assistive communication would be considered an asset
- Ability to work with numerous service providers
- Excellent communication skills and strong interpersonal skills
- Calm and patient approach to solving problems
- Willingness to work in an active, team orientated learning workplace
- Ability to demonstrate empathy, compassion and patience.
- Commitment to ongoing professional growth
