Overview

We are seeking 2 skilled and motivated Journeyman/Woman Plumbers and Gasfitters to join our dynamic team (with one position for a Journeyman/Woman interested in advancing as Foreman/woman). In this vital role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing and gas systems across a variety of commercial and residential projects, working in-and out-of-town. Your expertise will ensure safe, efficient, and reliable plumbing solutions that meet all regulatory standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse construction sites, perform maintenance tasks, and contribute to high-quality project outcomes. The ideal candidate will bring a strong mechanical aptitude, construction experience, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. A minimum of 5 to 10 years industry experience is required and *MUST have permanent resident status in Canada to apply.

Responsibilities

- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing and gas fitting systems according to blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Read and interpret construction drawings, schematics, and blueprints to accurately execute projects
- Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and heavy lifting techniques safely and effectively
- Perform routine maintenance on plumbing fixtures, piping systems, HVAC components, and related equipment
- Collaborate with and supervise team members to assemble components and ensure proper system assembly in accordance with safety standards




- Conduct inspections to identify issues early and implement corrective actions promptly
- Follow all safety protocols and building codes while maintaining a clean and organized work environment

Skills

- Solid mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot complex plumbing and gas systems
- Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
- Hands-on experience with HVAC systems, maintenance procedures, and construction practices
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and heavy lifting techniques safely
- Ability to perform basic math calculations for measurements, quantities, and system specifications
- Knowledge of carpentry principles relevant to construction or installation tasks
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in assembly and system integration
- Minimum 5-10 years industry experience

Pay: $46.00-$50.00 per hour
