THE JOB

We are seeking a reliable and organized Dispatcher to coordinate and monitor daily transportation activities. You’ll work closely with drivers, customers, terminals, and internal teams to keep pickups, deliveries, and container movements running safely and on schedule. If you’re a strong communicator who can stay organized in a quick-paced environment, we’d love to hear from you!

REQUIREMENTS

The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of transportation, logistics, or dispatch experience. Experience with transportation management systems or dispatch software is an asset. Strong communication, organization, problem-solving, and time-management skills are important, along with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively with drivers and customers.

A verified clean criminal background check is required.



Safety footwear and a high-visibility vest are required when entering operational areas or yards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Coordinate driver schedules, pickups, deliveries, and container movements
- Communicate with drivers about assignments, schedules, delays, and changes
- Monitor shipments and address delays or service issues
- Coordinate with customers and internal teams
- Enter and maintain accurate information in transportation systems
- Maintain records and documentation
- Ensure drivers have the correct instructions for each assignment
- Follow company safety procedures and transportation regulations
- Assist with other transportation-related duties as needed
