Dental Assistant — Level II

Location: 738 Notre-Dame Street, Embrun, Ontario

Our wonderful Dental Assistant is heading off to hygiene school, and while we’re incredibly excited for her next chapter, we’ll definitely miss having her on our team!

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments using proper aseptic techniques and infection control protocols.
- Provide efficient chairside assistance using four-handed dentistry techniques.
- Assist with a wide range of procedures, including general dentistry, prosthodontics, endodontics, and pediatric dentistry.
- Take dental radiographs and 3D scans while maintaining proper technique and patient safety.
- Maintain accurate and complete patient records and clinical documentation.
- Obtain and document vital signs and medical history information.
- Provide patients with clear oral health education and post-treatment instructions.
- Communicate professionally with patients, team members,



and external healthcare providers.
- Support efficient clinical flow and contribute to a positive patient experience.

What We’re Looking For

- 3–5 years of Level II Dental Assisting experience is preferred.
- New graduates are welcome to apply if they have the right attitude, work ethic, and willingness to learn.
- Strong knowledge of infection prevention, sterilization, aseptic technique, and clinical safety.
- Experience with dental radiography and 3D scanning technology is an asset.
- Familiarity with general dentistry, prosthodontics, endodontics, and pediatric dentistry.
- Strong four-handed dentistry skills, or a willingness to develop them.
- Knowledge of dental charting, documentation, coding, and insurance processes is an asset.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and commitment to patient-centered care.
- Someone who is dependable, eager to learn, takes pride in their work, and enjoys being part of a team.
