Our client Organic Meadow is seeking a Millwright & Electrician (Dual Ticket) to join their Plant Team in Guelph, ON. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled maintenance professional to play a key role in improving equipment reliability while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives in a quick-paced food manufacturing environment.

In this role, you'll be responsible for repairing, maintaining, and improving plant equipment through reactive, preventative, and predictive maintenance strategies. The successful candidate will work closely with the maintenance team to minimize downtime, improve plant performance, and support ongoing operational excellence.

This role requires flexibility to work various shifts as operational needs require. You'll have the opportunity to work with a well-established Canadian organic dairy manufacturer that is committed to quality, sustainability, and continuous improvement.

The successful candidate will hold Ontario and/or Interprovincial 433A Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) and 442A Industrial Electrician Certificates of Qualification. Candidates should have 3–5 years of experience in dairy, liquid processing, or a similar food and beverage manufacturing environment, along with strong preventative maintenance and troubleshooting skills.

How You'll Move the Needle

- Perform reactive, preventative, and predictive maintenance on plant equipment.
- Repair and maintain processing and packaging equipment, including processors, homogenizers, pasteurizers, and packaging systems.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical equipment, including pumps and valves.




- Improve equipment performance and reliability to minimize production downtime.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and maintenance projects.
- Lead local parts management for projects and coordinate contractor activities.
- Receive shipments and communicate with suppliers regarding discrepancies or inquiries.
- Ensure preventative maintenance schedules are completed effectively.
- Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to resolve equipment issues.
- Perform other maintenance duties as required.

What You Need to Succeed

We are looking for a candidate that demonstrates the following abilities and traits:

- You have at least 3-5 years of experience in dairy, liquid or similar food and beverage-type transformation processes
- Must possess an Ontario and/or Interprovincial Certificate of Qualification as an Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) – 433A license and 442A License (Electrician) required. A dual ticket (Millwright + Electrician) is required.
- Knowledge of GMPs and HACCP
- Strong preventative maintenance and troubleshooting ability
- You have experience working closely with a team to fix and solve equipment issues
- Experience troubleshooting mechanical/pneumatic/electrical pumps and valves
- You have excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project-management skills
- You have outstanding interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)

What Would Give You an Edge

- Computer skills would be an asset
- Preference will be given to someone holding a dual ticket (industrial electrician)
- Experience working with a CMMS would be an asset
- Familiar with continuous improvement processes and methodologies would be an asset

Hours of Work: Flexible shift work is required based on operational needs.

Pay: $46.13 per hour
