About Us:
Impressions Group Ottawa is a full-service pool, landscape, and construction company known for delivering quality work with a strong focus on customer care. Our retail location supports hundreds of pool owners every season, and we’re looking for a dynamic, motivated individual to lead the front-line experience in our Pool & Outdoor Living Store.

Position Overview:
This is a hybrid retail/customer service position that blends product sales, in-store merchandising, water testing, and light digital marketing. You’ll be the go-to person for walk-in customers looking for pool chemicals, robotic cleaners, maintenance advice, and more. A strong eye for visual presentation and excellent communication are a must. Seasonal position until November.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Service & Sales

- Greet and assist customers with pool product recommendations and solutions
- Perform water tests and suggest appropriate chemical treatments
- Sell products including pool chemicals, robotic vacuums, and accessories
- Prepare and provide quotes for customers on requested items or services
- Educate customers on pool care and maintenance best practices

Store Operations

- Maintain a clean, well-stocked, and well-organized retail space and showroom
- Stock shelves, face products, and ensure accurate labeling/signage
- Receive inventory shipments and assist with store layout/display updates

Marketing & Engagement

- Create and post social media content to highlight new products, promos, and store events
- Engage customers online and drive foot traffic through creative digital posts and promotions




- Contribute ideas for in-store promotions and community engagement

Required Skills & Qualifications:

- 1–2 years in retail, customer service, or pool industry experience preferred
- Friendly, approachable, and confident in product-based selling
- Strong communication skills, both in-person and on social media
- Comfortable using point-of-sale systems, basic water testing tools, and social media platforms
- Detail-oriented, clean, and organized work habits
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (e.g., chemical containers)
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently or with a small team

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience in the pool & spa industry or water chemistry knowledge is a strong asset
- Basic graphic design or social media content creation (Canva, Instagram, Facebook)
- Retail merchandising or visual display experience
- Experience in a customer facing role
