Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Lead Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in residential painting, with the ability to lead projects and communicate effectively with contractors, clients and team members. This role requires attention to detail, excellent time management skills, leadership and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.

Duties

- Oversee and manage painting projects from start to finish, ensuring timely completion and adherence to quality standards.
- Prepare surfaces for painting by filling, caulking, sanding, and applying primers as necessary.
- Apply paint, stain, lacquer and other finishes using various techniques and hand tools.
- Airless spray and HVLP spray finishes, maintain spray equipment in good working order.
- Restore surfaces as needed, including drywall repairs and touch-ups.
- Communicate with clients to understand their needs and provide exceptional customer service throughout the project.
- Train and mentor junior painters on best practices and techniques in painting.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring all tools and materials are properly stored.

Skills





- Proficiency in commercial painting techniques as well as residential painting skills.
- Solid knowledge of drywall repair processes and materials.
- Excellent time management skills to efficiently prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Ability to effectively communicate with clients, team members, and management.
- Experience using hand tools related to painting and surface preparation.
- A keen eye for detail to ensure high-quality finishes on all projects.
- Customer service orientation to foster positive relationships with clients.

Pay: $22.00-$32.00 per hour
