Steward / Stewardess – Almond Coffee & Cuisine

Almond Coffee & Cuisine is looking for professional, energetic and service-focused Stewards / Stewardesses to join our front-of-house team. The ideal candidate should be welcoming, attentive and comfortable working in a fast-paced café and restaurant environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Welcome and assist guests in a friendly and skilled manner.
- Guide guests to tables and support smooth seating during busy periods.
- Assist servers with table setup, clearing and resetting.
- Serve water, beverages and food when required.
- Ensure tables and guest areas remain clean and presentable.
- Support order delivery and communicate guest requests to the service team.
- Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, service stations and front-of-house spaces.
- Refill cutlery, napkins, glassware and other service supplies.
- Assist with opening and closing duties.
- Coordinate with servers, baristas, kitchen staff and management.
- Respond to guest questions and requests professionally.
- Maintain high standards of hygiene, grooming and presentation.
- Follow food safety,



sanitation and workplace safety procedures.
- Help ensure a smooth and enjoyable guest experience from arrival to departure.

Requirements

- Previous restaurant, café, hotel or hospitality experience is preferred.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Friendly, professional and well-groomed appearance.
- Ability to work efficiently in a busy environment.
- Strong teamwork and attention to detail.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Comfortable carrying trays, plates and service items.
- Flexible availability including mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.
- Smart Serve certification is an asset where applicable.
