Job Summary

We are seeking a collaborative Physician Assistant (PA) to join our primary care practice for 2 days per week (14–16 hours total). Operating under medical delegation from a supportive family physician, you will act as a key extension of our medical team—evaluating patients, formulating management plans, and providing comprehensive care to an established family practice.

This role offers predictable hours and structured physician collaboration.

Compensation & Benefits

- Competitive Hourly Rate: $50.00 to $60.00 per hour (commensurate with experience).

Key Responsibilities

- Perform comprehensive patient assessments, physical exams, and health histories under physician delegation.
- Work closely with the supervising physician to review complex cases and streamline patient flow.
- Formulate diagnostic and treatment plans, order/review laboratory and diagnostic imaging,



and manage acute and chronic conditions.
- Perform clinical procedures and prescribe medications in accordance with delegated medical acts and practice directives.
- Maintain timely EMR records (Telus Practice Solutions) and complete daily charting within your shift hours.

Qualifications

- Graduate of an accredited Canadian Physician Assistant program (or US ARC-PA equivalent).
- Certified (or eligible for certification) through the Physician Assistant Certification Council of Canada (PACCC) as a CCPA.
- Active member in good standing with the Canadian Association of Physician Assistants (CAPA).
- Primary care experience preferred (recent graduates with strong clinical rotation backgrounds welcomed).
- Familiarity with Telus Practice Solutions (PS Suite) is an asset.
- Current CPR/BCLS certification and adequate CMPA / PA liability coverage

Pay: $50.00-$60.00 per hour

Expected hours: 14.0 – 16.0 per week
