Hranco Industries Ltd. is a long-established leader in structural steel fabrication, custom metalwork, sandblasting, and industrial finishing. We operate large paint booths and apply coatings to oilfield equipment, tanks, structural steel, vessels, trailers, and other industrial components to client specifications.

We are hiring an experienced Industrial Painter to work in our booth environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Apply industrial coatings using airless spray equipment in a controlled booth atmosphere
- Prepare surfaces as required (in coordination with blasting/prep teams)
- Mix, thin, and apply coatings to specified film thickness and finish quality
- Follow coating manufacturer specifications and client requirements
- Maintain spray equipment, booth cleanliness, and safe work practices
- Inspect work for defects, coverage, and adhesion
- Complete documentation and support quality control processes
- Work collaboratively with fabrication, blasting, and finishing teams

Required Qualifications

- Minimum 5 years of experience spraying industrial coatings in a booth atmosphere
- Proven proficiency with airless spray equipment
- Strong knowledge of industrial coatings (epoxies, polyurethanes, primers, topcoats, and similar systems)
- Ability to read and follow coating specs, SDS, and work orders




- Understanding of surface preparation standards and proper film build
- Commitment to safety, including PPE, confined/booth procedures, and WHMIS
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently or as part of a crew

Assets

- Experience with bake-cycle booths
- Knowledge of NACE or SSPC practices
- Experience coating structural steel, tanks, oilfield equipment, or similar industrial products
- Valid driver’s license
