Bakery Worker positions

- (General Labor, Packaging, Line Work)*

We are looking for who is able to work12-hour shifts and who want to work long term in a bakery factory. The ideal TM,s must be comfortable performing repetitive tasks at a fast pace bakery factory, must be able to keep up with the speed. (4-5 days/week)

New Plant: Woodbridge,On

When you start at the new plant, the hours may be less for the few weeks. Once things get busier and the operation is fully running, the hours should increase and return to the regular schedule

Job Description:

- Ability to work 12 Hours as General Labor, Packaging, Line Work
- When you start at the new plant, the hours may be less for the first few weeks. Once things get busier and the operation is fully running,

- Flexible Monday to Sunday/ 4 days a week minimum
- Physical labor duties in order to produce a consistent product in a timely manner that meets all standards
- Banana crew,Bin Mover,Box Former,Box Packer,Clamshell Closer,Clamshell loader, Depanner, fixer,Mixer Assistant,Pan loader
- Washing and transporting dough bins from the mixing area to the resting area, and ensuring proper sequence is followed.
- Stand at the end of the packaging line and put together boxes.
- Stand at the end of the packaging line, and place finished, packed goods, into the box and pass it through the taping machine
- Stand towards the end of the packaging line, after the fixer, in order to close the clamshells (packaging containers). A clamshell will pass by every second
- Food Manufacturing Environment
- CSA Approved Safety Shoes (Steele Toe)

REQUIRED SKILLS, ABILITY & EXPERIENCE:

- Food processing company must follow Good Manufacturing Practices & good personal hygiene practices
- Able to work in a fast-paced work environment with repetitive tasks
- Able to stand and walk throughout the shift
- Good written/verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Ability to move from one task to another with minimal distraction
- Flexible to work days, nights & weekends if needed
- A friendly, culturally diverse staff
- Able to perform repetitive lifting
- Able to lift up to 25kgs

Job Types: Full time, Temporary

Pay: $20.00-$20.65 per hour

- Woodbridge, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
