The Housekeeping Attendant is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, sanitation, organization, and overall appearance of assigned rooms, common areas, and other designated facilities. The position includes general cleaning, waste removal, linen handling and transportation, replenishment of supplies, and routine deep-cleaning projects.

The Housekeeping Attendant works independently to ensure all assigned areas are maintained in accordance with established cleanliness, operational, health, and safety standards.

Responsibilities:

- Clean, service, and maintain assigned rooms and other designated areas in accordance with established cleanliness and operational standards.
- Make beds and replace bed linens, towels, and other linen items as required.
- Clean and sanitize bathrooms, kitchens or kitchenettes, bedrooms, living areas, and other assigned spaces.
- Replenish rooms with required amenities, toiletries, linens, and supplies.
- Vacuum carpets and area rugs and sweep, mop, and clean hard-surface flooring.
- Dust and wipe furniture, fixtures, windowsills, doors, baseboards, and other surfaces.
- Clean and maintain hallways, entrances, stairwells, elevators, lobbies, and other shared spaces.
- Collect, remove, and properly dispose of garbage, recycling, and other waste from assigned rooms and common areas.
- Transport clean and soiled linen, housekeeping supplies, and other materials between designated areas and storage locations as required.
- Sort, organize, distribute, and maintain linen and housekeeping supplies.




- Stock and maintain housekeeping supply rooms, storage areas, carts, and cleaning equipment to ensure adequate supplies are available for daily operations.
- Perform rotational and detailed cleaning duties, including deep cleaning and other heavy cleaning tasks.
- Carry out special cleaning projects and seasonal cleaning assignments as directed by management.
- Clean and disinfect high-touch surfaces and other designated areas in accordance with established sanitation procedures.
- Identify and report maintenance concerns, damages, safety hazards, deficiencies, or required repairs to management in a timely manner.
- Report unusual conditions, security concerns, or damage observed in assigned rooms, common areas, or other designated locations.
- Use cleaning chemicals, equipment, and supplies safely and in accordance with manufacturer instructions and established procedures.
- Follow all applicable health and safety regulations, workplace procedures, and safe work practices.
- Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and safe condition of assigned work areas, storage spaces, and housekeeping equipment.
- Assist with room preparation, turnover cleaning, and other cleaning requirements as assigned.
- Respect the privacy, personal belongings, and security of occupants while performing assigned duties.
- Respond professionally and courteously when interacting with occupants, visitors, employees, contractors, and other individuals on the property.
- Work collaboratively with Housekeeping, Maintenance, Security,



and other departments as required.
- Follow established emergency, security, and safety procedures.
- Perform other related duties and cleaning assignments as required.

Qualifications:

- Professional attitude and ability to follow instructions and established procedures.
- Previous housekeeping, room attendant, janitorial, or commercial cleaning experience is preferred.
- Ability to work independently with minimal direct supervision.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
- Ability to organize and prioritize assigned cleaning responsibilities.
- Ability to work efficiently and complete assigned duties within required timelines.
- Physical mobility and stamina required to perform repetitive cleaning duties throughout the shift.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and transport linens, garbage, cleaning supplies, and housekeeping equipment as required.
- Ability to safely use cleaning products, chemicals, tools, and equipment.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Valid work permit.
