RAM LAW is the continuation of a 7-decade, well-established, and client-focused law firm. We are seeking a business-minded Junior Associate to join our team in Don Mills, Toronto. This in-person role offers direct involvement in files, immediate client contact, and hands-on experience, backed by partner support and a collaborative environment. We are looking for an ambitious lawyer focused on long-term professional growth and practice development within a close-knit firm structure.

Key Responsibilities

- Primary Areas of Law: Directly engage with files primarily in corporate law and real estate from initial intake to closing.
- Secondary Areas: Assist as needed on files involving estate planning, estate administration, commercial leasing, domestic contracts, small claims/dispute resolution, and other miscellaneous matters.
- Advising Clients: Conduct client meetings, ascertain objectives, provide legal opinions, deliver ongoing strategic counsel, and conduct closing/signing meetings.
- Transaction Execution: Draft, review, and negotiate agreements; perform due diligence and title/corporate searches; and execute post-closing reporting.
- Research & Drafting: Conduct targeted legislative, regulatory, and caselaw research to support complex transactions and opinion letters.

Qualifications & Candidate Profile

- Licensing: Called to the Ontario Bar 2+ years ago.
- Experience: Minimum of 1+ year of practical experience in at least two of our core practice areas (Corporate, Real Estate,



Estate Planning, or Estate Administration).
- Firm Fit: Thrives in an entrepreneurial, small-firm setting; highly adaptable, reliable, and self-motivated.
- Client Relations: Strong interpersonal skills with a polished, approachable demeanor that instills client confidence.
- Business Acumen: Commercial mindset with a focus on efficiency, billable target execution, and long-term career building.

- Transparent Compensation: Fee-split structure tied directly to collected billings, supported by a guaranteed minimum work volume and steady monthly draw.
- Target Earnings: Expected compensation ranging from $105,500 to $240,000, with direct control over your earning upside based on performance.
